Behind TheCookingLab you will find a organic chemist. Isn’t it the same? In the laboratory I experiment with the synthesis of drugs and in the kitchen I experiment the reaction of acids and bases, enzimes and proteins to bake the best cakes I can.

At the end of the day, baking is just chemistry: try a recipe, analyze the results and optimize them to start a new iteration until you get the best conditions for the best flavor and texture. This is how TheCookingLab started, an electronic lab notebook of cooking.
